Saw this on the Problem Solvers Blog and thought I'd make sure you saw it too.
Anthony sent me over some pics of his solution for mounting the front of his fender. The bike frame didn't have a chainstay bridge, so he improvised with a tube, zip ties, and presta valve nut.
This is a problem that I've encountered in the past when trying to fit some ill fitting fenders to B.Ridge's Karate Monkey. My solution was far less eloquent than this and I'm thinking that having this idea in my back pocket will come in handy some day.
The only thing I wonder about is if the washer loosens up. Nothing some loctite wouldn't cure though.
