Fixed Gear

People have said fixed gear is a fad, but you and me we know this is untrue.
This was what my bike looked like after my commute into work this morning,this is why fixed gear will never die.
Like Colt 45, it works everytime

No doubt. That kind of slush will wreck a derailleur in no time.

Sweet pics. Makes me wish it would snow some more here...

How is that clip on front fender working for you? Do your feet stay pretty dry. I love full fenders for their coverage, but they are a pain to install/remove.

I'm almost afraid to ride in snow/ice not on a fixed gear. My winter fixed bike is way more of a beater than your bike, but same principle. Nothing cuts through the crap better than a beefy tired fixed gear.

it was parked indoors at work and it all melted off. Then I got back on it. no cleaning or maintenance necessary.
