Eurobike Day Two

photo.JPG
One of the weird categories of bikes that are big in Europe is "cross." Not cyclocross, but essentially mountain bikes with skinny tires and sus forks. At first I thought it was just Euro hybrids, but they always have off road rated front suspension.

It doesn't make much sense to my American brain, but the Euros praise them for being "lighter" and faster than mtbs. Give me a rigid fork and 1.5 tires, I say.

The other day I commented on how elaborate some of the booths are, this is an example
