MOTH ATTACK

On the recent most trip out to L.A., Tina and I had a super random serendipitous on the sidewalk encounter with a friend of a friend who'd I'd never met in person but recognized who then happened to be with and introduce us to Megan and Jack. Megan is the birth-giver to MOTH ATTACK and Jack builds completes from said frames etc.and rips peoples legs off. They took us back to their space for coffee and a tour, and we were awestruck.

Don't let this innocent look fool you - Megan builds anything she wants. To perfection. Tina and I saw her table at NAHBS in Austin, but it certainly didn't clue us in to what could really happen when this woman was turned loose with flame-born metal madness.

The space was exceptionally well organized and efficient. The kind of place you could sit in for hours even if you only just kinda liked bikes. If you love them like we do, it's restraining order fascinating.

Some of Megan's builds including this track bike for Jack with an oversized head tube, STOUT-inspired seat stays, and worldwide diplomatic immunity.

Beautiful bits were lurking about everywhere. Except for this guy -

Just kidding Iggy.

With a pretty big build que going, we can only imagine what the future holds. Super super cool stuff. Stay tuned. It's for the best.
