Inspiration 100

i100test2

The 2012 Inspiration 100 is on Saturday, September 8, at 8:00 AM.

The Inspiration 100 is an unsupported 100 mile gravel race through the Leaf Mountain area aroundInspiration Peak. The loop starts and finishes in Garfield, MN, which is located 8 miles northwest ofAlexandria, MN. There is a convenience store at the halfway point for resupply purposes, and this nice lady at mile 75 for spiritual replenishment.

This event is modeled after the other outstanding gravel events in the Midwest, with a nice mix of terrain, scenery, and challenge. Our goal is to present a race that lets the rider experience the diversity of West Central Minnesota with its rolling hills, lakes, field and forest.

We feel that this is an ideal warm-up to The Heck of the North (scheduled for September 29th) or as a way to dip your toes into the gravel scene. We will strive to offer racers the hospitality, camaraderie, fun and challenge the other Midwest gravel races have given us.

All 100 miles of this event are FREE. Submit a postcard with your name, email address and gender (m/f/none of our business) to:
