I've been looking for a copy of Village Life for years now, ever since Burma turned me onto it in college. It's really pleasant (I know "pleasant" isn't a great word for good music, but it's fitting in this case) music for a hot summer day. Foday Musa Suso plays the 21 string Kora and handles singing duties. World music without all that Putomayo pussy shit.
