2011 Homey Fall Fest aka The Blow Me Fall Colors Tour
*this better be the flyer image for the next 5 years
The annual Homey Fall Fest once again took place this past Saturday. Mountain bikes were ridden and crashed, feelings were hurt, beer was drank, fire was made, and it was all very good. Here is some photographic evidence of what went down.
It strikes me that one of the things that separates Minneapolis' bike culture from the other major metropolitan cities in the U.S. is the addition of mountain bikes to the mix. Single speeding is essentially a Minneapolis export as the generation prior to mine basically invented and popularized it.

Those Magic Motorcycle Alex Pong cranks are off the chain if you know your mid 90's mtb.

Tried to bunny hop this guy and hit him on the way up and the way down. Made it second try.

Great pictures. What kind of chain tensioner is that on the Hollywood bike?
I'm so stoked that the name "Trevisty" stuck.
Cannondale used an EBB made for some good creaking as you hammered along
