What shape is the trail in? Has it recovered from the torrential downpours/mudslides of last year?
My friend and I did this trail over Memorial Day weekend. On the suggestion of Dakota Cyclery we started just south of Bennet Camp. North of Bennet still was washed out/deep rutted. Other areas have small reroutes, right next to original trail or filled in. You need to pick the right line, but most of it was just fine.
