I need your help to make Bandit Cross a reality, please come to Hobo Camp on Sunday August 14th (this weekend) at 3pm.
Bring gloves, a weedwacker if you have one, rakes, saws etc. We need to clear out the singletrack for this year's racing. If we have enough people show up, we will add an extension to the woods section.
I know it's the day after Powderhorn, but in order to make Thursday's race happen, we all have to pitch in. Get down there.
I'd like to take a second to talk to you about the upcoming All City Championships, now only a mere two weeks (one weekend) away. But before I continue, let's get ourselves in the mood by pressing play on the video below.
Do you feel better? You should.
Folks, it's that time of year again when I ask for your help to make the ACC's a reality and I am pleased to announce that once more Emily A. has come to my rescue and has decided to coordinate your efforts.
What we need are people willing to work a stop on August 20th from 5-9pm. Preferably you would bring a partner, or we could match you up with one. There are both bar and non bar stops available. You would be stamping manifests, and perhaps have some additional responsibilities depending on the stop.
If you can help please contact Emily at evilantimartha at gmail.
In other news, we have an updated flyer, that now has party location.
get stoked. don't miss it.
P.S. I'm searching for housing for two married ladies from out of town. If you can put them up, please let me know.
If any of you out there have a blog, or some other place to post, please pass the flyer on and make it known that this event is happening and is going to be way rad.
Even though "The Boo don't tip, he just gets a new bag", this rare event was captured on film to show that even the strongest snack warriors must go for it at times.
Annual classic motorcycle rally here on Center St. Hosted by the legendary FUEL CAFE and favorite day of the year for this guy -
The street is closed off on both ends for about 8 blocks and folks come from all over to show off 100's of some of the most stunning bikes one could hope to see. Everyone who comes there on bicycles wishes they were leaving on a motorbike, unless of course you're drunk as hell and can't remember how you got there period. Which is really how you're supposed to leave if you didn't do the whole thing wrong. Here are a few photos of classic iron - you can see the rest on my flickr
saw the Tribe Called Quest Documentary last night. Highly recommended, it's not mind blowing or anything but it's always nice to see who did what with classic hip hop records.
