Stopped by Trashbags HQ yesterday to pick up my new hip pouch and Andy was sewing his first ever roll top backpack
but before I get to that you should be aware that Trashbags now has a new website.
Tentatively called the "Garbage Barge" this bag was made for a friend of his for traveling and carrying a large load
large main compartment and an outside waterproof front pouch of considerable size
generously padded shoulder straps and a hidden stash pocket between the bottom and back panels
side compression straps
Question: What's the hardest part about buying a hip pouch
Answer: Telling your dad you're gay.
Trash can detail
This is his Wastebasket II model which holds three beers. The bag is very well made, and comfortable and should prove just the thing for when a large bag isn't necessary. shows, bars, racing, etc. Although in Minnesota winters there's no way I can get by without a large bag, so this will mostly be a summer item.
Andy also put an outside pouch on it at my request. One of the best things about dealing with Andy is his willingness to try new things and do custom work.

And what did your dad say?
It looks cool and awesome. I love collecting different varieties of BackPack. It is very useful for our long ride to carry many stuff in it.
