Peacock Groove: NAHBS Prep
I swung over to Peacock Groove Headquarters this afternoon to borrow Erik's copy of Conan the Barbarian, while there I took the opportunity to shoot some teasers of his NAHBS bikes before they are fully built up.
I also had the opportunity to shoot the prep of some of the other exhibitors who share his workspace. Expect a few more of these NAHBS Prep posts in the near future and more shots of Erik's projects as they near closer to completion.
Erik with his Evil Dead 2 Tribute bike
In the theme bike realm Erik has no peers among the builders you'll see at NAHBS. I hate to use a lazy analogy, but he is the OCC of the custom bike world. The thing about it though, that has always rubbed me the wrong way, is that his paint jobs always get the attention (be it positive or negative). And while it's true that his paint ideas are original, to say the least, the paint is really just the icing on top. What he really excels at is fabrication.
Just look at that shit.

A true artist. If he could get my bike done... Is the Evil Dead bike for a customer?
