This weekend I found out that I was wrong. The bike shown at NAHBS was not in fact the vaunted TMC29YHES, but a completely different frame and fork, built for the same customer.

Peacock Groove Gold Plated 29er
Earlier I reported that the "most custom 29'er you have ever seen" had been given a new rear end, gold plated and shown at NAHBS.
